July 26 Release (v22)

Valorx Fusion v22 introduces in-app announcements, significantly faster log file loading, and more consistent update controls for admin-managed environments.

Explore the highlights and bug fixes included in this release below.

This page includes updates for Fusion Mac v49.2, and v49.3.

New Improvements

Fusion In-App Announcements

Fusion now shows helpful announcements directly inside the product, so you're informed about important changes, new features, and release updates without having to look elsewhere.

What you'll notice:

  • You may occasionally see announcements when you open Excel.

  • Announcements are targeted to your Fusion product and version.

  • Announcement types include:

    • Action Required – Important changes that require your attention.

    • Release Notes – A summary of new features and improvements.

    • Announcements – Information about upcoming features or important updates.

  • Each announcement includes a title and short description.

  • Viewed announcements won't appear again.

  • You can also check for announcements anytime using the Announcement button in the Excel ribbon. If there's nothing new, it will simply show "There are no new announcements at this time"

  • Want to turn off the startup pop-up? Go to Settings > Disable announcements on startup. You'll still be able to check announcements anytime via the ribbon button.

Now Valorx Fusion Updates Can Be Controlled by Org Admins

Fusion now properly honors your admin's update preferences across the Excel Add-in.

Update button (Excel Ribbon)
Update Now button (Valorx Home)

What you'll notice:

  • If your admin has disabled auto-updates for your organization, the Update button (in the Excel Add-in ribbon, under Control Panel) and the Update Now button (in Valorx Home) will no longer be shown

  • This ensures update behavior remains consistent with your organization's settings.

  • If you don't see this change take effect right away, try refreshing your cache and logging in again

Faster Log File Loading

Fusion now loads large log files significantly faster, reducing the time to display the first results from up to 2 minutes to under 100 ms.

What you'll notice:

  • Large log files open almost instantly.

  • Previously opened log files load even faster using cached data.

  • A progress indicator keeps you informed while logs are loading.

  • Performance remains consistent even for large log files.

  • This improvement changes performance only—the interface and workflow remain the same.

Bug Fixes 🐞

We've addressed several issues in this update to improve your experience. Here are the details of the bug fixes included:

  • Offline Files Now Respect "Close Without Saving" Fixed an issue where offline files could still save changes after reconnecting, even when users selected Close Without Saving. Unsaved changes are now correctly discarded.

  • Improved Session Recovery After Extended Inactivity Fixed an issue where Fusion displayed a runtime error after a Salesforce session expired following extended inactivity. Runtime and Design Studio now reconnect successfully.

  • [Dynamics] Search Across Filters Now Returns Matching Results in Old SNS Fixed an issue where valid keywords returned No Records Found when related fields were included in Search Across and Display. Search results now update correctly.

  • Multi-Select Selections No Longer Cleared After an Invalid Search in User Selection Query Fixed an issue where previously selected records would disappear after an invalid search was cleared in the new Search & Select. Selected records now stay selected and visible, as expected.

  • "Contains" Filter Now Supports Free-Text Input for Record Type [Name] Fields in User Selection Fixed an issue where the new Search & Select rendered the "Contains" filter as a dropdown-only field for Record Type [Name] fields, preventing free-text entry. Users can now type values for "Contains," consistent with the old Search & Select behavior.

That covers everything in Fusion v22. If you have any questions or feedback, please visit our Valorx Support page. We are fully committed to enhancing and complimenting your CRM experience and look forward to hearing from you!
