# August 26 Release (v22.10)

This release brings some exciting updates to Fusion. Dynamic API opens the door to connecting Fusion with virtually any external system, bringing more of your data into one place than ever before. Alongside that, we've made two improvements that make building and running workflows even smoother: workflows now avoid running into trouble when a query comes back empty, and ribbon groups have twice the room to keep related actions together.

### Dynamic API

Fusion can now connect directly to outside systems, like an ERP, a financial platform, or a logistics tool, and bring that data straight into Excel alongside your Salesforce data. No coding needed.

#### Here's how it works:

* An admin sets up the connection once, choosing where the data comes from and where it should land in your grid.
* From there, anyone with access can run it with a single click, just like any other Fusion task.

Your login details, tokens, and passwords stay securely on your own computer. They're never shared with other users or sent to Salesforce.

### Smarter Workflows

Workflows can now automatically stop when a query returns no records. This prevents subsequent steps from running without data, helping avoid blank saves, empty display sheets, and confusing errors. Your apps can now handle no-data scenarios more predictably.

### 20 Buttons for Ribbon Group

Ribbon groups now support up to 20 buttons each, double the previous limit. This means more related actions can live together under one heading, instead of being split across separate groups just to work around a button count limit, keeping your app's navigation cleaner and more intuitive.

## <mark style="color:blue;">Bug Fixes</mark> 🐞

We've addressed several issues in this update to improve your experience. Here are the details of the bug fixes included:

* **Preloaded Grid Map Rows No Longer Hide in Runtime**\
  Fixed an issue where preloaded rows in previously created Grid Maps could be hidden in Runtime when multiple Grid Maps used **Preload Grid – Based on Query**. Preloaded rows now remain visible independently for each Grid Map, even when new Grid Maps are created.
* **Multiple Clear Tasks Now Clear Records from Their Respective Grid Maps**\
  Fixed an issue where only the first configured Grid Map was cleared when multiple Clear Tasks were used in the same workflow. Each Clear Task now correctly clears records from its associated Grid Map when the workflow is executed.
