Manage Campaigns and Sales Cadences

Use Wave grid actions to manage Campaign and Sales Cadence membership directly from your grid. You can select multiple Contacts or Leads and add them to a Campaign, add them to a Sales Cadence, or remove them from a Sales Cadence without leaving the Wave Embedded grid.

Why Use These Grid Actions?

When working with a list of Contacts or Leads, you may need to perform the same Campaign or Sales Cadence action for multiple records.

Instead of managing each record separately, you can select the records directly in your Wave grid and perform the action in one step.

For example:

You have 5 Contacts in a Wave grid and want to add them to a Campaign. Select the Contacts, choose Add to Campaign, select the Campaign and Member Status, and complete the action.

Add Contact to Campaign

The selected records are then processed by Salesforce.

What can you do?

Action
What it does
Result

Add to Campaign

Adds selected Contacts or Leads to an active Campaign

The selected records become Campaign Members

Add to Cadence

Adds selected Contacts or Leads to an active Sales Cadence

The selected records are assigned to the selected Sales Cadence

Remove from Cadence

Removes selected Contacts or Leads from a Sales Cadence

The selected records are removed from the applicable Sales Cadence

These actions are configured as Wave grid actions using Salesforce Screen Flows.

Before You Start

Before configuring these grid actions, make sure the following are available in your Salesforce org.

  • The supplied flows are deployed and active:

    • Add to Campaign

    • Add to Cadence

    • Remove from Cadence

  • Users have access to the required flows and Salesforce objects.

  • For Add to Campaign, at least one active Campaign is available.

  • For Add to Cadence and Remove from Cadence, Salesforce Sales Engagement is enabled and the required Sales Engagement access is available.

  • You are configuring the actions on a Contact or Lead grid.

The supplied flows use a variable named selectedRecordIds to receive the records selected in the Wave grid.

Tip: If you want the same action on both a Contact grid and a Lead grid, configure the grid action separately on each grid.
