FAQs

Part of being successful is about asking questions and listening to the answers. - Anne Burrell

Is Wave actually free?

Absolutely! Wave has a completely free plan available to all users. This means you can experience the efficiency and convenience of using Wave at no cost. The free plan for Wave has some limitations to the number of orgs, records, and custom objects you can manage, which are lifted in paid subscriptions for those who have the need.

Who uses Valorx Wave?

Valorx Wave is perfect for Salesforce admins, sales reps, IT leaders, and revenue operations professionals aiming to swiftly manage data within Salesforce. It streamlines data updates, visualizes relationships, and enables bulk edits without long data load processes. Put simply, anyone who spends a few hours in Salesforce everyday can optimize their productivity by adopting Wave.

If I switch to Wave, do I have to stop using my other tools?

Not at all! One of our core values at Valorx is not to reinvent the wheel, but to make it better. Wave seamlessly integrates into your existing Salesforce environment, allowing you to work faster and smarter without having to discard your current tools or workflows.

How does Wave ensure the security of my data?

With Wave, your data never leaves Salesforce. The application maintains a two-way integration, allowing for real-time syncs and updates without the risk of data breaches. You can trust that your information remains secure while benefiting from our enhanced features.

With Wave's spreadsheet-like grid, do I need to be proficient in spreadsheets to use it?

While Wave mimics a spreadsheet interface for familiarity, you don't need to be a spreadsheet expert to utilize it. Wave is designed for intuitive use, making data management faster and more accessible for both spreadsheet novices and pros alike.

Why should I create a new View if I can use filters to see specific records?

You certainly can apply filters to see specific records. However, when you close the Grid View screen or move to other Views, you will lose those filtered records.

  • You should create a new View if you need those filtered records for future use. You can delete the new Views when you don't need them anymore.

What is the difference between applying multiple filters and filter groups?

The Filter is a function that allows you to sort data within a file. Filtered records will display only the rows that meet the specified criteria and hide rows you do not want to be displayed.

  • When you apply multiple filters, you must use either And or Or condition in all of them. For example, you can filter the opportunity records containing amount less than $100000 and has California as Billing State and is in a prospecting stage.

  • If you want to use the combination of both And and Or conditions, you should apply a filter group. For example, you can filter the opportunity records containing amount less than $100000 and has California as Billing State or is in a prospecting stage.
