Valorx Fusion Settings
Valorx Fusion Settings let users configure how Fusion behaves on their machine, separate from the app-level settings within Salesforce. The Settings screen is organized into four sections: Information, Settings, Logs, and Runtime Cache, each covering a different aspect of the Fusion experience.
Accessing Settings
To open Valorx Fusion Settings, click the Settings button on the Valorx Fusion Ribbon.

Information
The Information tab displays your current application version alongside your user and organization details, pulled directly from your connected CRM account.

Application Version
Version – the currently installed version of Valorx Fusion (e.g., V21.43)
User Information
Full Name – the name associated with your logged-in user account
User Email – the email address tied to your account
User Name – your CRM login username
User Id – your unique CRM user identifier
License Type – the type of Valorx license assigned to your account
Organization Name – the name of your connected Salesforce organization
Organization Id – the unique identifier for your Salesforce organization
This information is read-only and is primarily useful for troubleshooting or when contacting Valorx Support, since it lets support quickly confirm which version, user, and org you're working from.
Settings
The Settings tab lets users configure how Valorx Fusion behaves, including Map appearance, general application behavior, active CRM connections, runtime file storage, and Valorx Support access.

Maps
Map Color Settings let users customize the header and data background colors for Grid and Form Maps before creating them. To access these settings, click the color palette icon on the map toolbar to open the color picker. Colors can be set independently for both Grid and Form Maps, using either Standard (pre-defined colors) or Advanced (custom color) options. Users can reset colors to default at any time. This only affects map-level color settings and does not impact any other map customization.

Pointer Text in Formula Row of Map controls whether the formula currently used for a mapped column is displayed in the map's formula row. This is especially useful for blank columns or save-only fields where custom formulas have been applied, letting users quickly see which formula is driving a given column. Users can toggle this text to Show or Hide as needed.
General Options
Active CRM
Active CRM displays the CRM connections available on the Start Screen, letting users quickly view and switch between connections. Valorx Fusion currently supports three CRM connections: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and ServiceNow.

Runtime File Location
Runtime File Location lets users specify where Fusion's runtime files are stored. This setting only takes effect when Store Runtime files in User's OneDrive folder is enabled in the App Settings screen. By default, the folder is set to:
C:\Users\<Name>\OneDrive - Valorx Inc
Users can click Change Folder to select a different storage location if needed.

Valorx Support
The Valorx Support section provides a password field that unlocks additional support-level options within Fusion. Since this password is not self-service, users who need access should contact Valorx Support at support@valorx.com to obtain it.
Logs
Use the Logs section to view activity logs for both Design Studio and Runtime. For more information, see Logs.
Runtime Cache
When users run an application, certain files required for the app to start are downloaded and stored locally on the device. This caching reduces launch time on subsequent runs, since those files don't need to be downloaded again, resulting in a faster launch and a better overall experience.
The Runtime Cache tab lists all cached apps, showing:
App Name: the name of the cached application
Connection: the CRM connection associated with the app
Cached Time: when the app's files were last cached, along with a relative time (e.g., "22 hours ago")

Deleting Cache Files for Individual Apps
If recent app design changes aren't reflected properly, users can clear the cache for a specific app:
Click Settings.
Then click on the Runtime Cache tab.
Locate the app in the list.
Click the Delete icon next to the app's name.
This removes the cached files for that app only, ensuring the latest design changes are loaded on the next launch.

Deleting All Cache Files Using Purge Cache
To clear the cache for all apps at once, use Purge Cache:
Click Settings.
Click on the Runtime Cache tab.
Click the Purge Cache button.
This removes cache files for all apps simultaneously. It's useful when multiple apps aren't reflecting recent changes and a fresh load is needed across the board.
