We’re excited to share the latest Fusion update, focusing on enhancements and fixes to improve your experience. While there are no new features in this release, we’ve introduced meaningful improvements and addressed key issues to ensure a smoother, more efficient workflow.


Enhanced UI / UX Design

Redesigned Login Screen

The Fusion Sidebar now includes a revamped login experience, standardizing the login process across platforms. This enhancement introduces a streamlined, intuitive design for Mac users, similar to the existing Wave login controls.

Users can now log in using one of the following methods, offering flexibility and ease of access:

  1. Login with Salesforce (Production and Sandbox)

    • Production Login: Enter Salesforce credentials directly.

    • Sandbox Login: Enable sandbox login by selecting a checkbox labeled “Sandbox”.

    • Connection Name Input: An input field above the login button allows users to name the connection.

    • Removed Login URL Field: The login URL is no longer required to simplify the process.

  2. Login to Experience Cloud

    • Allows users to log in to their Experience Cloud instance by entering the specific URL before proceeding.

  3. Login to Custom Domain

    • Users can log in by entering their custom domain URL.

    • Dynamic URL updates display the user’s domain input.

    • Includes validation to ensure the URL format is correct before login.

User Scenarios

  1. New Fusion Users:

    • Upon launching the Valorx Add-in, users are directed to the Login Screen.

    • Users log in and are redirected to the Homepage or the Fusion App.

  2. Returning Fusion Users:

    • Active Connection:

      • Users skip the login step if an active connection is detected.

      • If loading takes more than 5 seconds, a "Reconnecting" loader appears.

      • Users are redirected to the Homepage or the last used section in the Fusion App.

    • Inactive Connection:

      • A list of previously connected orgs is displayed.

      • Users can log in to a listed org or choose from the four login options.

      • A "Back" button allows returning to the default login screen.

  3. Logged Out Users:

    • The hamburger menu now includes an updated design and an option to add a new org.

    • After logging out via the hamburger menu, users are redirected to the Login Screen.

Additional Enhancements

  • Updated Design Reference: A clean, user-friendly interface guides users through the login process.

  • Dynamic Feedback: Loaders and back buttons ensure a seamless navigation experience.

This redesign ensures a cohesive and intuitive login experience across all supported platforms, simplifying access for new and returning users.
